Electrical conductivity (σ) is a measure of the ability of the material to conduct an electrical current.
The units of conductivity or electric conductive is Siemens per meter (S/m), or more commonly milliSiemens per meter (mS/m). The Siemen, which is the unit of conductance, is the reciprocal of the Ohm, where ohm is the unit of resistance.
